"This felt way too expensive for what..."
This felt way too expensive for what it was. I kept hoping it would turn out to be worth it, but in the end it just felt like a waste of money and energy.

"My order showed up faster than I..."
My order showed up faster than I expected, which was nice. One of the items was the wrong size, though, so that was a little frustrating. I contacted support and they did fix it after a few days, so I guess I can’t complain too much. Overall it was fine, maybe just not as smooth as I was hoping.

"Sizing advice was a waste of time"
I waited around hoping their size guide would actually help, but it was useless. I ordered the size they recommended based on my usual fit, and the shoes were way off when they arrived. Super frustrating after waiting, only to end up with a terrible fit.

I tried Heartbreak Hill Running Company while getting ready for my half marathon because I was looking for some shoe and training advice. I usually assume sites like this are mostly trying to push products, but the tips actually felt like they came from people who run and know what they’re talking about. "Good community, but not totally there for me"
I’ve got good feelings about Heartbreak Hill Running Company overall. The run club had a nice energy, and people seemed genuinely friendly without making it feel super intense or intimidating, which I really appreciated.
The store and brand side is where I feel a little unsure. Some of the gear definitely looks cool, but the prices kind of hit me the wrong way, and the online info wasn’t always as clear as I wanted it to be.
So yeah, I’d say it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a local running community. I liked it, and there’s definitely something good there, but I can’t say I was completely blown away.

"They seemed to wear out quickly"
I’m not sure if I just got unlucky, but these shoes really didn’t seem to last very long. After a short time, they were already looking worn out, which was disappointing

"Shipping was kind of a mess"
My delivery showed up late, and the tracking was barely useful the whole time. It felt like the package was just sitting around somewhere for days, though I can’t say for sure. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely frustrating.

I ran into the same kind of issue again, i’m just tired of it at this point. Support took forever to respond, and when they finally did, it didn’t really feel like they were trying to help. It mostly felt like nobody actually cared enough to fix the problem

"Return was easier than I expected"
I had to swap a hoodie for a bigger size, and I was kind of expecting the usual overly polished customer service runaround. But the return steps were actually straightforward, and someone got back to me quickly. It did take a few days longer than I would’ve liked, but the replacement showed up in good shape and fit fine. So yeah, not perfect, but a good experience overall...
